The Night Owl
He came from another dimension, an alternate universe from the Digital Universe, his world destroyed by a mad scientist named, Dr. Who, who came to our universe to experiment, on lifeforms to their reaction to deadly decease, that turn those who get expose to into zombies, or worse stone statues, which crumble to dust. He has the cure to this decease but at a price, of wealth and power. The Night Owl is bounded to stop him, this is his story.
Chapter one: A world destroyed
His race was known as the Avians, half man, half bird, humanoid life forms with wings like birds, and can fly like a bird. His race had the ability to change shapes if needed.
Our story begins on the planet known as Ariel, a world with humanoid life forms that half man, half beast, the Avians were such lifeforms. Their leader heard stories that a strange decease was effecting the other lifeforms turning them into zombies, or into stone statues that crumble into dust. Then suddenly, a messenger came in with a written message, it read:
“ I know why this is happening, it's called stone cold decease, it makes it's victims either the walking dead zombies, or just make them stone statues that crumble to dust, I should know because I made it, and I have the antidote to it. I put the decease in your water you drink, and your food source which they drink the water, which exposes you. If you don't meet my demands with in a months time of giving me 1 million gold coins, I'll withhold the cure, and your world will be destroyed--- signed, Dr. Who.
The Mad Scientist Dr. Who?
The leader angrily replied, “ Who does he think he is? How dare him poison our water supply, and source!” Then he asked the messenger, “Who gave you this letter?”
The messenger replied, “ I don't know, I was in the street tending to my apple cart, and this strange gray color man approached me. Gave me a silver coin, to deliver this message.”

The leader then asked the messenger, “ Would you know him if you saw him again?”
The messenger replied, “ Yes sire I would.”
The leader said, “ Very well, you'll go with one of my palace guards and search for this man, then you'll bring back to stand before me.” Then he called Night Owl, and ordered him to search for this gray skin man, Dr. Who.

Night Owl, and the messenger went from the palace started looking for Dr. Who. The messenger who was really a henchman for Dr. Who lead Night Owl to an alley, when suddenly Night Owl was knocked out cold. After two hours the Night Owl woke up in an anti-animated chamber. There standing before him was Dr. Who, along with a hairy troll, and a mermaid in another jail cell. Dr. Who looked up at Night Owl and said, “ I knew the king would send his best palace guard to track me down, I also know your ruler has no intention in paying my ransom for the health and well being of the peoples of this world.”

Justice down on Dr. who.
Night Owl said, “ If you destroy this world, by the heavens I'll track you down and kill you!”
Dr. Who answered, “ I thought as much giving a lifeform with a brain as a wall nut. That's why you are in my chamber, and you'll stay there until I finish doing my work here, maybe I'll have you stay there for all time on a dead world. But you'll wont be left alone in the dark, you'll have the mermaid princess there, and my furry friend, they'll keep you company.”
Then Dr. Who left the lab, and went to a small space ship, with his henchman, and blasted off into cyber space, then he opened a data portal, enter the date stream and vanished!

Meanwhile back at the cave still in suspended animation the Night Owl could hear the mermaid weeping in her cell, he called out saying, “ Don't cry, I'm here with you” She responded in a sad voice saying, “ Thank you, I've been here so long, alone with that woolly troll mostly, they have him bring me water enough for me to float in. My name is Willow, they captured me from my home world called Avial, which is an ocean world, they brought me here to enslave me, to do their dirty work for them like putting this decease in this world's oceans and rivers, to pollute them with this stuff he invented.”
Night Owl in a reassuring tone, “ Don't worry Willow when we get out of this prison, I'll take you back to your home world, you did nothing wrong, the people who used you did the evil, not you.” She answered in a whimpering tone of voice, “ It looks like the doctor as left us to die here.” Night Owl responded, “ There's always a way to escape a jail Willow.
They spent a whole month in their confinement, talking to each other, while the troll was doing his duties as he was train to do maintain their life. The troll only grunted when ever he came into the lab doing it's duties.
Meanwhile outside of the cave, the whole world of Ariel, was being destroyed by this decease, and the Night Owl was powerless to help stopping it.
Back in the cave, the day came when the fiery suspend beam of light turned off, the woolly troll came in to stop the Night Owl from escaping, The Night Owl, managed to grab his lazier gun, and shot the hairy beast dead.
He then shot the lock off that held the mermaid, her tail fin turned into legs, so she could walk, she gave Night Owl a hug, thanking him for rescuing her, they then went out from the cave, and Night Owl saw the bodies of the people that died.
Some where roaming around wishing their were dead. Both of them made their way back to the palace, and found his leader dead. He then checked to computer, and scan for life on his planet, there were none. All the people of his world were either starve to dead because of the poison food and water supply, or dead because they succumbed to the Decease. When left the cave he took Dr. Who's data port, and put it in the computer, he found out where was Dr. Who going to Earth! Then he took Willow and boarded a space pod, and the blast off into cyber space, he first took Willow to her home world to deliver back to her people. On board the small two manned space pod they lived on what little rations on board the ship. It was tormenting Night Owl, knowing his world was dying of starvation, and he was powerless to stop it. In his mind all that matters now is vengeance.
They made it to Willow's home world no worse for ware, tired, and starving themselves Night Owl landed on the only land mass on this ocean planet. He landed the craft near the capital city where they were greeted, by the king, who was glad to be reunited with his daughter, Willow. They gave them a feast, in celebrating of Willow's return.
Night Owl stand for three days there, on the fourth day he was preparing to leave to track down Dr. Who. The aquatics of this world gave him a better transport vessel, complete with food, and water, along with other supplies. They also gave him a bag of pearls which he would find useful. Willow came to him in tears gave him a hug and thanked him.

Then he boarded the transport craft, and flew off into cyber space, he opened a data portal and vanished in it, destination Earth!
In the cockpit of the space craft he orders
the computer to find a secluded place.
The vortex opened and Night Owl's pod emerged orbiting the planet Earth, he ask the computer, “ What is the Earth date?” The computer answered, October 31st 1939 A.D”
“Fine a secluded place so I can build the tree house” He asked the Computer answered, “ What they call North America, in the Pacific North West near a town called Port Angeles, that's pretty secluded.” The Night Owl said prepare to land.” He cloaked his ship so it wont be visible, and landed the craft in mountains called Hurricane Ridge.
